‘Born on Curaçao, raised in Amsterdam’. On the tropical island of Curaçao founder Folkert Tempelman of Pika Hotstuff fell in love with pika. A healthy and spicy salsa with fresh ingredients. On Curaçao pika goes with everything. For example with delicious food from the BBQ on the beach with a cold drink. When Folkert returned to the Netherlands after almost ten years, he couldn’t find pika anywhere. So he decided to dive into the kitchen and make pika himself. Now his company doesn’t just make salsa, but also his second love: spicy pizza oil! And many more flavours are to come. Folkert’s mission with Pika Hotstuff is to let everyone enjoy spicy world flavours from around the world, the ‘Pika Life’.
